It seemed appropriate to have two last substantial exhibitions of Tim’s paintings and superb etchings at WPA’s two Charity Clay Shoots in 2011, one in the South of England at Compton Manor near Stockbridge in Hampshire on 6th May, the other in Scotland near Leuchars in Fife. The events covered the basic costs so that the Charity benefited from all the funds raised. In total these two events raised some £10,000.
Those items remaining unsold are listed with prices under “mounted” and “unmounted” art and were unsold as at 1st March 2012.
Anyone interested in purchasing should contact email@example.com by email. Items will be charged at the listed price plus postage and packaging at cost.
The framed pictures are open to offers to the same email address.
All Tim Greenwoods etchings were limited editions but his more recent ones may have only had a few dozen made. Because these paintings and etchings were his personal ones from his house many are marked A/P meaning Artists Proof and represent the first off the press that he considered perfect. Because there is no wear on the copper plate the early ones and in particular the A/P etchings are always considered the most valuable.
